Our LNAT Tutors
Law is highly a competitive subject and a number of Russell Group universities ask students to sit an admissions test before offering them a place. This compulsory online assessment is known as the LNAT – the National Admissions Test for Law.
The LNAT is a daunting prospect for many sixth formers, particularly if they have not studied law at school . Preparation is crucial. Our LNAT tutors have a wealth of experience preparing teenagers for the exam, and all have impressive track records.
Our team consists of full-time law tutors, Oxbridge graduates, legal professionals and teachers at leading private schools. Together, they have equipped a diverse range of students with effective exam and revision strategies, and helped them progress to the next stage of their academic careers.
We have a multi-stage recruitment process which involves an application form, an interview, references and DBS certification. When we recommend a tutor, therefore, we know they won’t let you down. Our tutors also attend regular training sessions to ensure they remain up-to-date with any changes to the LNAT syllabus.
How our LNAT tutors prepare students
The LNAT is designed to test student’s intellectual ability, not their existing legal knowledge. As result, our LNAT tutors help students develop their core problem-solving and communication skills through a bespoke programme of tuition.
The assessment is divided into two parts: a multiple-choice section based on argumentative passages and an essay writing section, drawing on wide range of topics. Our LNAT tutors thoroughly prepare teenagers for both elements of the test, homing in on areas of improvement and polishing existing skills.
Past papers and targeted one-to-one discussions form the basis of our tuition. Tutors also keep a close eye on their students’ progress through regular testing; offer reading recommendations; and engage teenagers in debates about current affairs and legal issues.
Online LNAT Tutoring option
Our tutors can teach in-person or online, using a range of digital tools.
