Our A Level Geography Tutors
Geography is a rich and diverse subject. At A Level, students explore both physical and human Geography, learning about landscapes, landforms, climates, cultures and populations. Our A Level Geography tutors breathe fresh life into the subject, and help teenagers get to grips with the different aspects of the course. Whether your child needs help with essay writing, diagrams, or data analysis, our world class tutors will give them the support they need to shine. Brilliant communicators, our tutors have improved the grades of hundreds of students, and pride themselves on the quality of their bespoke tuition.
Our Geography tutors are all subject specialists with outstanding academic and professional records. Our team is extensive, made up of qualified teachers who have taught at top private schools, first class Oxbridge graduates and full-time tutors. Regardless of their background, all of our tutors are passionate about education and want to see young people succeed. We know that A Levels can be daunting, and are committed to making Sixth Form an exciting time of learning and academic development.
At Hampstead and Frognal Tutors, we devote a great deal of time finding the right tutors for our clients. Our recruitment process is rigorous and we ask all applicants to provide at least two references, along with details and proof of their qualifications. If we like what we see, we always interview candidates in person, to ensure they share our values and fulfil our meticulous requirements.
How our Tutors Teach Geography
We know that students perform best when they are enthusiastic and interested. Our A Level Geography tutors ensure their lessons grab the attention of their pupils and spark their curiosity. Whether your child is learning about population change, glaciers or oxbow lakes, our tutors make all areas of Geography engaging and fun. We also know that no two students are the same. Teenagers learn at different speeds and struggle with different topics. The tuition we offer, therefore, is carefully tailored to suit the needs of individuals, and is crafted to bring out the best in every student.
Our private tutors are well acquainted with the different exam boards and make sure students are familiar with the entire Geography syllabus. Exam technique is crucial at A Level and our tutors advise pupils on how to approach questions, how to manage their time and how to structure their revision. In short, how to achieve the highest mark they possibly can. At Hampstead and Frognal Tutors, however, we aim to do more than boost exam performance. Geography is a pressingly relevant subject and — if it is taught well — can capture the imagination of teenagers. Our tutors are keen to nurture the budding interests of their students. Whether your child is fired up by migration or climate change, therefore, our tutors will stretch and challenge them.
We are predominantly based in London but our private tutors also deliver lessons online via Skype. If you live abroad therefore, or simply away from the capital, you can still access our fantastic services.

Testimonial
Helen has tutored my son for the last two terms. Helen is always punctual, organized, and well planned for the lessons. My son’s grades have improved significantly and so has his confidence. We would like to continue with the lessons to the end of year 12, and please could we reserve Helen again for year 13.
