What is an Academic Assessment
An academic assessment is a measure of your child’s core skills in numeracy, literacy and Reasoning. Our free assessment is an assessment of your child’s abilities through written tests and questioning. This Assessment includes:
- One hour Assessment with a Senior Tutor
- Detailed Assessment in English, Maths and Reasoning
- Feedback from one of our Education Consultants

Our Senior Academic Assessors are Education Consultants, and Trained Teachers, and are highly experienced and qualified having completed hundreds of assessments over the years. They have excellent knowledge of the curriculum across all stages within a child’s education career and Entry Requirements for the various UK Independent Day Schools, Boarding Schools, Grammar Schools and Selective Schools.

The Assessments take place at our Marylebone office 119 Marylebone Rd, Marylebone, London NW1 5PU approximately 2 minutes walk from Bakers Street Tube Station.

Our Senior Academic assessors assess children at any age during their school career. From beginning reception and year 1 to year 6 for primary and prep school children through to Years 11, 12 and 13 for Senior school students for GCSE and A-levels.
Additional Services
We also offer Full Comprehensive Academic Assessment and this can be arranged following a telephone consultation and includes an age appropriate testing in maths, writing, reading, and reasoning with a senior academic assessor. A full academic assessment report is included in this package. Many clients find the full report extremely useful for benchmarking their child’s progress and in the case of school applications parents can provide the written assessment together with their school reports for the child’s academic reference.
