We know that our private A Level tutors will never let you down. Our recruitment process is a challenging one, with applicants required to provide proof of their qualifications and experience. We also interview all candidates in person, and ask to see at least two references. DBS certificates are mandatory. Once they have joined the company, our tutors are offered continual training and development opportunities to ensure their standards never slip.
How our Tutors Teach
A-Levels
A Levels test how well students retain knowledge, grasp difficult concepts, communicate their understanding and cope under time pressure. Our private A Level tutors are experienced at equipping teenagers with the tools they need to excel. Thorough understanding and a firm grasp of the whole curriculum is crucial at A Level. Our tutors quickly evaluate the strengths and weaknesses
of their pupils, and target problem areas. No issue or uncertainty is swept under the carpet, and our tutors encourage teenagers to ask questions and to speak up if they are feeling confused.
Exam technique remains crucial at A Level. Students must learn how to revise effectively, how to approach questions, how to manage their time and how to structure their answers. We help students master exam technique. Our A Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics tutors know the Science exam boards inside out. They know the pitfalls of practical exams, and make sure to highlight the different assessment criteria for their students. Similarly, our A Level Maths tutors know which questions flummox exam candidates, and always prepare their pupils well in advance.
There is more to learning than exam technique, however. If your child has chosen to take a subject at A Level, it is likely they find it engaging and fun.
